Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama, and the medicine drama The Resident. She was also recognized for her television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper on CBS' soap opera Guiding Light. A few of her most memorable films comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. It is reported that she is making a film adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the team who wrote the movie Immortals. The show she is starring in, Gods & Heroes is currently in production.
