Felicity is an English actress who gained fame for portraying Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones has worked in films, plays and TV from the age of 12. Jones started her career as an actor with the TV movie The Treasure Seekers. In The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters, a sequel to The Worst Witch. She was Young Ruth in her first movie Flashbacks of a Fool and after that, she was a star in numerous films. In films such as The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2 The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she was a hit for her performance. It was however her character in The Theory of Everything' that won her the Oscar award for the first time. Jones received high praise from the public and critics for portraying Hawking's former wife as she appeared in the Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno was the next film she starred in with Tom Hanks. It was the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles awarded Jones with the British Artist of the Year in 2016 due to her extraordinary talents and contributions to the film.
