David Muir (born August 25 1949) is a famous American journalist anchor and reporter. Muir is best known for World News Tonight. His show with its dramatic clips of celebrity gossip on video and his animated gestures has become the most watched news program in America. Made In America, his Emmy Nominated show is one of his other contributions. Before joining ABC World News Tonight, him was the principal alternative to his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He's covered a number of shows during primetime for ABC News some recent ones include Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint the Refugees of America.
